About this opportunity
Help speech AI learn how people really talk: interruptions, laughter, back-and-forth and all.
You and another contributor choose a topic from a short list and talk about it for as long as the conversation flows. Change topics whenever you like.
What to expect
- You're matched with one other contributor for a 1:1 conversation in your browser.
- Before recording starts, you both see a notice that the session is recorded and used for AI training, and each of you taps to start. A recording indicator stays on the whole time, and either of you can end the session.
- Sessions run about 20 to 40 minutes. Take part as often or as rarely as you like.
How recordings are reviewed
Each recording is accepted or rejected against the published Acceptance Criteria. You're paid for every accepted recorded hour. Every rejection has a reason, and you can appeal it from your account.
Good to know
- Speak naturally. There's no script; the topics are just a starting point.
- Don't share personal details such as your full name, address or phone number. Transcripts are PII-redacted.
- Please read the Conversation Guidelines before your first session.
Requirements
- You live in an eligible region (below) and are 18 or older, or the age of majority in your province.
- You speak English well enough to hold a natural conversation.
- A desktop or laptop computer with Chrome, a wired or USB microphone and wired headphones.
- A quiet room where no one else can be heard.
- Once approved, you verify your identity, sign your contributor documents and pass a paid qualification session (US$10 flat fee, paid whether or not it's accepted).
- Before your first payout, you add a tax form and a payout method. Earnings are kept until you do.
